Does my cutting machine cut SVG files?

If you work with Cricut Explore (Design Space), Sure Cuts A Lot or Make The Cut the answer is Yes! If you work with a Silhouette Cameo you need the Studio Designer Edition. If you have the basic Studio software we recommend upgrading to the Designer Edition because being able to cut SVG files is only one of many great features!
If you are unsure if your machine/software supports SVG files please contact the manufacturer.

Which file formats will I receive with my purchase?

You will receive a SVG file and a zipped folder with the following file formats: SVG, DXF, PNG, EPS. Some designs do not include a EPS file, please see the product description for details.
Please note that SVG files may get displayed as html documents (e.g. Google Chrome or Explorer files). Please don't let this throw you off.

How do I locate the files I downloaded?

In order to locate your downloaded files you need to access your "Downloads" folder. If you are using Windows the folder is usually located on the drive where Windows is installed (for example, C:usersyournamedownloads). You can also do a search using the word "Downloads". If you are a Mac user you click on the Finder which will lead you to "Downloads"

How do I open the zipped folder?

Most computers have built in software that will decompress/open zipped folders. To unzip all the contents of the zipped folder, right-click the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions. If you are a Mac user, double-click on the zip file and it will extract to a new folder.

I can't find the SVG file

SVG files sometimes get displayed as html documents. They may look like Google Chrome or Explorer files. Please don't let this throw you off. To help you identify the SVG file, all of our SVG files are named "SVG..."

Are the multi color designs layered?

Yes, they layered and pre-grouped by color for easy separation.

Cricut Design Space freezes or states that the design is too large - what should I do?

Some designs may take very long to load and to work with due to many pieces. I recommend uploading the png file using the "moderately complex" option and saving it as a "Cut image". This will load the design as one piece and will speed up working with the file tremendously.

Can I sell items that I make with your designs?
